Angel Investors Marlborough has quickly grown to be one of the largest and most active regional Angel clubs in New Zealand. The club boasts over 110 memberships and over 172 individual members. In six short years the club has invested over $25.78M in 66 different companies. Monthly meetings attract 70+ attendees with a very interesting array of investment presentations always guaranteed.

How can I invest?
Angel Investors Marlborough does not operate a fund. Members make their own individual investment decisions. The minimum investment amount is $5,000.

Who can invest with us?
All Angel Investors in New Zealand must qualify as Wholesale Investors under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013. Wholesale Investors fall into one of two main categories:
“Eligible”
Wholesale Investors
Are defined as investors who have adequate investing experience and knowledge to be able to weigh the risks and merits of an investment opportunity. They have been involved in investing in companies (on a share market or directly in unlisted companies) or more generally in the buying or selling of financial products.
“Wealthy/Finance Professional” Wholesale Investors
In NZ ‘wealthy’ is defined as having $5m in net personal assets (including all entities you control) or having invested $1m or more in a financial product. Professionals working in the finance industry also qualify.
